Hey Richard from Dublin!!!
I was wondering what your thoughts are on the dismantling of our current economic structure and what it would really take for it to change? It just seems like a long stretch of the imagination for the human species to progress to a money free society!!!
Cheers
I'm guessing your'e James from the youtube video....

Welcome there, hope ya get something out of the forum and media video section of the site. For your question, what will it take to dismantle our current economic structure? Nothing but its self. This system will destroy its self from its own gears scratching off its core. However, its a slow painful process that those in power will try to make last longer than needed. Not branding them evil... people try to repair the economy and this system all the time because they can't imagine having anything else. To help this along is really just education.
Which leads to the second bit of your question, what can we do to really change people because it seems very difficult for the human species to progress to money-free society. Like I said, education... especially now in our downfall. People are hurt, angry, sad and looking for answers. People want to know why this is happening to them and the pre-packaged answers we're being thrown by government and economists just don't cut it anymore. Eyes and ears are more open than ever about subjects that TZM addresses so it's good to make ourselves visible, known and understood during a time of interest. Let's not get too loud though, or we'll blend into the crowd of screaming idiots and preachers which folk are now experts at blanking out. ; )
Welcome again.

Ha very true, I'm all for the system but I would consider myself a very open minded educated person(to some extent anyway).
Not to sound arrogant but there are far to many people out there that don't give a crap about the system or how it works or their place within it. I would say the larger portion of people would not even fathom thoughts that don't involve today or tomorrow. I think the main problem is that people are afraid to think about the big picture, that we are hear on our own with no spiritual supervision and that we can change everything because we started it!!!
While watching your radio interview I laughed when you said that the earth owes money to itself which is true and its something I have always said. The thoughts of the world being in debt is hilarious because we aren't competing with any other planets and we aren't being controlled by any supreme being, its just another form of controlling the general population like religion once did.
Anyway I appreciate you getting back to me on the matter
cheers

As a hairless African Ape we are pretty impressed with ourselves but, thankfully, evolution is a constant process and will inevitably lead to our abandonment of certain redundant behaviours and belief systems. By gaining awareness of that which is honestly important in life and changing our behaviour we are aiding the progress of our species along our particular evolutionary branch.
Cheers ladanman, Just typing that out cheered me up

Hey all,
I am Mark from Limerick.
I was given the Zeitgeist link by a mate I play a mmorpg with as we got talking about basically everything this movement has expressed its views on - so now I feel like less of a loon lol.
Anyways the link he gave me was only a Part I of it, I went on to watch the full thing, followed by the Addendum and it was the fastest 4hrs every as I was rivited from start to finish of each vid.
I have always felt strong in relation to these topics and its nice to know that an actual global movement exists to educate the masses on the same.
I am delighted to be apart of it and look foward to being part of the family.

Hi Tomas and welcome to the forum.Honest debate and scrutiny is more than welcome here.
For a greater range of information than just zeitgeist addendum there is a thread on this forum called "UNDERSTANDING THE MOVEMENT" In there you will find a recommended watchlist. This could answer a good number of questions you may have(As it did for me)
Heres the link to that thread
